i-to-i has partnered up with ‘AYC Intercultural Programs Thailand’ so you can get certified through i-to-i, then head off to Thailand for 5 exciting months teaching English! AYC have developed a unique program for first-time teachers which means you’ll get to live and Teach English in Thailand with comprehensive support… perfect if you've never taught abroad before!

How the Internship Works:

Before You Set Off to Thailand

If you're not already qualified, i-to-i will provide you with extensive TEFL training, to make sure you’re ready for your first day in the classroom. We'll provide you with:

140 hours of comprehensive TEFL training

Expert tutor advice and tips from the i-to-i TEFL team

Instructions on the next steps to complete your application for the AYC Program 

Once you’ve sent your application form and documentation through to AYC, they’ll work with you directly to organize your internship placement, sort your visa and make sure you have all the information you need to arrive in Thailand full of confidence and ready to teach!

When You Arrive in Thailand

AYC will have already arranged a reputable internship position in Thailand for you, so it'll just be a case of settling in, seeing the sights of Bangkok and getting prepared for the teaching ahead. An expert in intercultural exchanges (and Thailand!), AYC will give you all the in-country support and guidance you need during your internship! Check out what you get:

A reputable internship set up for you 5 months in Thailand and over 300 hours of practical teaching experience. You’ll work 40 hours a week, with 24 face-to-face teaching hours

What you need to do the internship:

To be able to arrive in Thailand on the 23rd October 2010 and stay until early April

To be a native English speaker

To have a full University degree and be 21 or over

To hold a passport from one of the following countries: UK, USA, AU, IE, NZ or CA
